If your brakes suddenly fail, try pumping the brake pedal as fast as possible; this might create enough pressure to apply your brakes. If this doesn’t work, apply your parking (emergency) brake as hard as possible to slow the car down. If it looks like you’re going to collide with another vehicle, try to avoid the collision; blast your horn & steer around anything in your way. Try to pull over. Once you finally stop, put the engine in Park, turn it off, set the parking brake, and seek help. Do not drive the car until the problem has been fixed!
