EVANSVILLE, IN – December 27, 2017 – The 25th episode of Technician.Academy’s podcast series closes out the year with a two-part discussion between Richard Young, Director of Aftermarket Content and Programs at Technician.Academy, and CEO Shawn Collins. The two discuss their favorite topics of 2017 and other points of interest from the first twenty-four episodes. Richard and Shawn express their excitement for 2018 and discuss who they are already planning to have as guests in future podcasts.

“I’m really looking forward to 2018,” Richard Young says. “Our listeners will get to hear from Matt Buchholz [President & General Manager at MotoRad of America], Jake Tully [winner of the 2017 ASE Technician of the Future Award], several independent repair shop owners, Hot Rodders of Tomorrow coaches, and even more industry leaders.”

“Technician.Academy is going to do great things in 2018,” Shawn Collins says. “We recently launched a new scholarship board, have reached twice as many students this year, and we’ve added more schools and classes to the rotation.”

Many enhancements were made to the Technician.Academy website in 2017, and more resources were added for students. The podcast series generated over 1,500 downloads in the first six months and is now available on more channels: the Technician.Academy website, iTunes, Google Play, and Stitcher. Shawn Collins and Richard Young anticipate more growth and are excited to see what the podcast episodes of 2018 will bring.
