In Episode #22 of Technician.Academy’s podcast series, Professor of Automotive Technology at Jefferson College, Gerard Uhls, discusses his program at Jefferson. He shares his thoughts on why a trained technician is so important, why the industry has such a shortage and technician repair shop interaction. Gerard has worked in the automotive field for 29 years earning a Master Automotive Technician certification (ASE). Gerard has been recognized by ASE for 25 years of continuous certification and is also certified in both Maintenance, Light Repair (MLR), Light Diesel plus he is gold certified with Daimler Chrysler. Gerard has been with Jefferson College since the fall of 2003.
