FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

EVANSVILLE, IN – February 19, 2019 – Technician.Academy is excited to reveal its continued partnership with MotoRad, who is once again on board for the Respect is Learned© In The Pits contest in 2019.

“MotoRad shares our vision of educating the technicians of tomorrow and providing them with unique learning experiences like the Respect is Learned© In The Pits contest that will continue to shape the future of the automotive industry,” said Shawn Collins, Founder of Technician.Academy.

The Respect is Learned© In The Pits contest invites college students to apply to win a weekend with Randy Meyer Racing and Megan Meyer Racing at the Chevrolet Performance U.S. Nationals in Indianapolis, IN. Winners of the In The Pits contest work in the pits with the Randy Meyer Racing drag team, gaining first-hand experience on a nitro dragster.

Technician.Academy, Megan Meyer, and Brandon Kight of MotoRad announced the continued partnership with MotoRad at the 2018 AAPEX Show in Las Vegas. The teams also announced the addition of a second contest winner for the 2019 season.

“We’re looking forward as a team to bringing two new faces into the drag racing world. With MotoRad’s help, we’ll reach more students and make a larger impact on the industry,” said Megan Meyer.

“We’re proud to once again partner with two winning teams like Technician.Academy and Randy Meyer Racing for the Respect is Learned© In The Pits contest,” said Brandon Kight, VP of Marketing at MotoRad. “We have no doubt that the 2019 contest will be a huge success like the 2018 contest was.”
